Thick, with a layer of black pepper over a mouthfilling
gob of black cherry and licorice that cries out
for grilled red meat. Wine Spectator 91.

Peter Lehmann (Barossa 2004)
Focused and flavorful, with brilliant blackberry,
thyme and black pepper flavors that never lose
their zing as they rocket through the fine-grained,
polished finish. Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and

CALIFORNIA:
•Greg Norman (Carbernet Sauvignon
2002)
Well-proportioned, with a complex mix of herb,
red currant, black cherry and sage and rosemary
notes, with cedary tobacco notes folding in on
the finish. Tannins are supple and integrated.

ITALIAN:
• Rocca Delle Macie (Chianti Classico
2003)
The masters of Chianti. Pleasant and fruity, with
light tobacco and cedar. Medium-bodied, with fine
tannis and fresh finish. Wine Spectator 85.

Medium-bodied, with black currant, earth and a
light coffee note. Slightly firm, with a medium
finish. Wine Spectator 87.

Taut and steely, this shows intensity to its lemon
and mineral flavors, but it requires air and concentration
to coax them out. Lively and long, it needs time

A classic California White Zinfindel.

Calera (Chardonnay)
An excellent value in California Chardonnay, Calera's
2002 Central Coast Chardonnay offers a light green/gold
color as well as attractive aromas of honeysuckle
and white flowers, medium body, little oak, and
a pleasant finish. Wine Spectator 87.
NEW ZEALAND
• Kim Crawford (Sauvignon Blanc
Marlborough 2004)
Explosively aromatic, brimming with spice, herb
and peppery character, surprisingly docile in
the mouth, with lovely pear, apple, melon and
mineral flavors that linger enticingly. Impeccably
balanced. Wine Spectator 91.
ITALIAN
•Bollini (Pinot Grigio Trentino
2003)
Aromas of minerals and lemon rind follow through
to a medium-bodied palate, with good fruit and
a minerally finish.

flavours on an easygoing frame.

creamy texture and solid structure of this
appealing bubbly. Rating 88.
• Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin
Light and effervescent, with a floral, perfumed
character and delicate yet firm structure. Its
flavors evoke ginger and cherry. Rating 88.

Laurent Perrier
A focused style, showing bread dough and mineral
elements on a medium-bodied, moderately firm structure.
Lingering aftertaste of honey. Rating 87.

Mumm Cordon Rouge
A delicate version. Aroma of toast leads into
apple and citrus in this light-bodied, balanced
Champagne. Rating 87.

Laurent Perrier Rose
An attractive, fruit-laden rosé, delivering
its succulent cherry and raspberry flavors on
a rich, balanced structure.
Tails off a little on the finish, otherwise is

An intensely flavored Champagne, displaying tropical
fruit, berry and citrus aromas and
flavors enmeshed in finely woven texture, ending
with an aftertaste of dried fruit. Good
firm structure lends support. Rating 92.

Veuve Clicquot – La Grand Dame
Very distinctive. Bold and complex, exhibiting
roasted elements of toasted bread, nuts and
coffee, along with dried fuit and citrus nuances.
The structure is firm and fresh, with a
superlong finish evoking walnuts. 1995. Rating

Louis Roederer Cristal
You won't soon forget this vivid and expressive
Champagne. It packs in compound layers of citrus,
vanilla, pear and nutmeg that harmonize and linger
on the finish. Bright acidity makes it extra refreshing
and layered. 1990. Rating 94.

Louis Roederer Cristal Rose
Distinctive for its ginger and nut elements, this
rosé offers complex citrus and biscuit
tones on
a solid yet very accessible structure. Vinous
in character, it has a lovely, lingering finish.

oily cigar with firm draw. Smoke is woody, rich

A beautifully made perfecto, A superb draw.
A woody earthy flavors with a hint of nutmeg
and chocolate. A blanced elegant smoke.
